Ms. Ashley N. Green graduated from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania in May 2011. She received a B.A. in sociology and minors in elementary and secondary education. In the spring of 2010 Ms. Green studied abroad at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and volunteered with an NGO, Equal Education. Her independent research focused on "Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning in South Africa's Schools." Ms. Green has also worked as a teaching assistant at the Migrant Education Program in Adams County, as a camp counselor at Wisconsin Badger Camp, and as a tutor to local high school students in various subjects. She has also voluntarily taught english to adult Spanish-speaking migrant workers in her hometown, and volunteered as an ESL tutor at Ursinus College. For the past three years she has been a Writing Fellow and tutor at the Ursinus College Center for Writing. |
